This week I didn't get myself one single thing! I made the mistake of taking the Little Man with me and he was the lucky finder of thrifty gold. For some reason thrift stores make him uncomfortable I don't know why. Maybe its because everything is used? He always tells me that he is freaked out when we are there for too long. You know what cures that? Buying him something.
This week he was the proud recipient of 4 new VHS tapes. He has a tv in his room with a tape player so we are always looking for new movies for him. He got some good ones too this time. The first one I found was "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad, Day". I didn't even know there was a movie to go along with the book. This has been a favorite in our house for a long time, especially when the Little Man has what I call "Eeyore days".
Then he found two Star Wars movies, Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back. And one of the Indiana Jones movies. The funniest thing about these movies is that Little Man seriously thinks that Indiana Jones and Hans Solo are two different people. He just doesn't understand that Harrison Ford is the actor who plays them. Here are his treasures:
While I didn't find anything I loved enough to bring back into the house I did find some fun stuff that made me think about it.
Like these adorable pig salt and pepper shakers:
And this hoodie is from my high school. I thought I probably shouldn't get it since we go to the rival high school almost everyday for Little Man's swim practice.
If I had even an inch of wall space left in the house I would have gotten this. Someone made this out of a Guinness can.
